It didn't matter what appearance Nyimara kept for the others. It didn't even matter if she always looked at herself with distain or with a hardened expression. Kara's feelings have not changed since the moment she pledged herself. She had sworn never to bear a child for as long as she serves. That vows had only been changed for the fact of raising a child together. Kára plans to have no more with only Sigrdrífa as the symbol of their relationship.

Their daughter was living proof of their bond and their loyalty. The grey mare believes it is their child together that has helped Nyimara relax in her presence. Or perhaps it was the years of service. There had been a time Kára lost track of her mistress, but she had always been on the trail to find her again. She always had found her again.

Nyimara reveals she too had been worried about her last pregnancy. The fact was that her Queen was no longer a young mare. She was far from it and Kára was not exactly young herself. What they chose to do now could shorten their life later. She was sure her Queen has done so with so many births taking their toll. She was afraid what would happen if she decided to give it a go one more time.

Still, she doesn't voice this because doing so might anger her lover. She refuses to tell Nyimara was to do. It was Nyimara that commands her. Her beautiful Queen speaks again, this time to praise the fact that her twins have survived the ordeal. Kára nods in agreement even though she would rather Nyimara not have taken the chance at all. "You raise mighty children and I do not doubt these twins will be just as mighty as yourself." She cracks a small smile to hide the seriousness of her face.

It was hard for Kára to relax when there was so much to worry about. Nyimara should not do any worrying. She would do it all for her. "Speaking of our children," She begins. "Sigrdrífa has requested the chance to roam around the islands. She is curious to what else lies beyond our sands." Their daughter was older now so it wasn't a surprise she wanted more for herself. "What do you think? Should we give her permission to go on her own or do you have a place in mind to send her?" Or she could always be kept close. If Kára was honest she wanted to keep their symbol where she could keep her safe.
