LUCIFER
stallion | 18hhs | black | Faithless Demon

Pain laced its way up through Lucifer’s back leg. His crimson eyes were closed as he rested by an oasis in his home. The onyx hued male was grimacing as he slowly flexed his back leg, making the pain surge before dulling into a throbbing ache. He had done this to himself, but he did not let it stop him from his daily duties.

Having recently walked the borders of his home, the draft male had chosen to relax. Unknowing that someone would come to summon him, he had slithered away into the Dunes to the oasis that he had guided Mhidas to in the past. It was a secluded area and it allowed him peace while he worked through the pain. No one really got to see him lame, but it was far too little too late to really stop anyone from seeing it when he heard someone call upon the wind.

Lifting his head from where it was hanging, the demon blinked open his crimson eyes and flicked his ears towards the sound. It took him a few moments to piece together who it was, but after he realized it was Marceline, he let out a deep sigh. Shaking his large head, the stallion turned the direction Marceline had called from before he took a limping pace from the oasis to her.

It took him a short while, but once he was close enough to the pale woman, the dark brute let out his own call. He had to force himself to hide the limp now, but the pain wasn't easy to wipe off of his face. Having done back to back fights with Nyimara this season, the brute was growing exhausted with the swelling and pain of his hind leg. It would soon mellow back out to where he could do his normal things without bone stabbing pain, but for the moment it wasn't as he needed it to be.

“Why have you summoned me?” He finally rumbles, his tone edged slightly in pain as he rested on his right hind leg, leaving the left one to rest on the toe and take almost all the pressure off of it. He did not come to Marceline angry or looking for trouble, and it was crystal clear as he stayed on his side of the territory line at ease. He wasn't as nasty as he had been in the past, which was a good thing when dealing with neighbors. “Did what I say in the commons tickle your brain enough to come forward now?”
