Opening weekend, former and current players

I never bother athletes of any sport when I see them in public. I don't think its wrong for people that do, I personally just don't do it. I have had some conversations at dog tracks and frontons with former pros in the Tampa area while gambling and they have been cool, down to earth people. That being said I was there for opening weekend, which had a blast and the play was good and we had a lot of fun. Broke even for the weekend gambling and it was a good time. I will say I saw a few people approach some of the magic city guys and former pros and they acted like they were disgusted that they were being bothered by a jai alai gambler. In fairness I did not watch their interaction all night but the few people that I did see go up to them were brushed off and basically ignored. Weird to me but whatever, people acting like that either it be athletes or everyday people don't bother me and I actually feel bad for them with that disposition.
