2018 wasn't the 'beginning' for experienced car buyers. Maybe for you.
Most people don't need high end brand new cars. You buy the right models and you can expect 200,000 miles AVERAGE. Wasn't like that in 1980 when they'd rust out, wear out and crap out abt the time you paid off the car. MOST PEOPLE are poorly skilled and buy used cars that still get them around just fine.
Single people with no kids can buy the fast cars so long as they're not working retail or restaurants.
Younger families now are buying hybrids and saving a lot by local driving without gasoline. You obviously haven't owned a hybrid. But gas has been a bargain all your life compared to housing, energy and the technology modern people can't live without.
I woudln't worry about UAW workers, they make plenty more than you do. Replies:
