Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Where I'm from, the river runs RED;

The mahogany woman smiles softly, amber eyes glittering as she watches her younger sister smile. Raven-tipped sonars flex amid the tumble of obsidian mane that caresses the curve of her throat. The sight did much to soothe the tangle of emotions that had continued to haunt her over the last few months.

Mother’s continued distance, as well as the obvious tension between the General and Prime Minister have managed to put many of the Peak mares ill at ease. It was one thing to face a common enemy such as the Lagoon stallions, but far less difficult to decide the right course of action when disagreements arose between leadership. Bloodties tells Ryvar she should stand solidly behind whatever decision Khar’pern makes. Devotion to the Peak tells her that the Prime Minister, mother or not, should be the mind she turns to for guidance.

And yet she cannot deny that Clarity’s vocalized frustrations have merit. The tryst that the rose-gray mare continued to have season after season had resulted in not one but two siblings to the bay mare. Yet more proof to support the General’s claim that Khar’s loyalty to the Peak might demand questioning. Even Ryvar would never forget the flashes of affection in the moonwashed mare’s eyes as she met Khyber’s gaze or the hurt in the hardening of her features when the Lagoon stallion had come in hopes of stealing her away like a helpless filly. Of course, that had not happened. Father or not, Ryvar refused to be a pawn to the whim of stallions. But even that promise did not stop the flooding warmth as she gazed at Karlach.

”You look…happy.” She calls as her slender legs bring her closer to her sister’s side. Affectionately, the elder sister reaches out to tug at a straying strand of the girl’s charcoal mane. ”Have you visited the meadow near old fir tree lately? I heard there is a herd of fallow deer there with several new fawns.” she offers.
