Flicking one ear back and listening, Tefnut kept her hooves steady. As their bodies moved through the sands of her home, she hummed faintly after a few of his sentences. She gave him indication that she was listening, but there was no actual word of proof. It wasn't until she brought them to a secure place, her favorite oasis, that she was able to turn and look at him.

Nodding towards the water, she slightly smiled. “It's nice to meet you Tino. Sometimes, we never know why we are going anywhere. It brought me to many places in my life and I didn't know why until it was right in front of my nose.” Chuckling, she moved towards the water and lowered her head, taking a few sips. The water was clear and with the few rocks that were around it, they would have shelter once she took them to one.

“And yeah, good thing.” He wasn't exactly safe with her either, but she would be some form of buffer if Lucifer did show his thick self where they were. “Come once you've drank if you need to. This section of rocks will break the wind.” Humming again, she moved from the water before bedding down behind a rock, letting the stone take the brunt of the wind as she waited for Tino.
