Congrats. I went to AA on and off for the better of ten years, mostly to keep my spouse happy. Shed had plenty of drunks around long before I met her so she was pretty touchy abt it. So is the custom of getting high, one way or another, is that just cultural or in the genes? I read Russians drink habitually as do Irish. Never hear about Japanese drinking too much Saki all the time.
One thing abt ending the addictions, from heavy smoking to none, lungs do seem to repair--after 20 years I hear. And when I was at AA, a lot of middle aged alcoholics who couldn't stop, died of liver disease. I didn't drink that long and quit smoking some 30 years ago maybe. But I dont exercise much and that takes a toll on your physical fitness getting around.
I hate seeing all the TV and movie stars I liked when I was young disappear from visibility in their 80s and then they're on the news for having died. That's the Reminder. And Jim of course, is here to remind us constantly of our bad habits.
But lets move on. I'm binge watching 11-22-63 on Netflix abt a guy who goes back in time to 1960, hoping to find JFK's real killer and stop em. All these shiny, waxed vintage cars...I remember snow and dirt on cars but not in this movie. Its interesting tho.

Snows coming down here, the dogs don't stay out in the backyard long and the heat pump's not blowing much warm air.
Just for you, I checked 9's radar and see your snow will be over soon. Only half an inch here but there isn't a snow plow in the state so we're stocked up, dressed warm and the girls here are just glad they're inside dogs. I hear there's ICE tonight but we're not telling them abt that. Replies:
