Lucifer of the Dunes
And my dice aren't weighted.

A storm wages war up in the atmosphere that called to the dark pit of tar known as a stallion's soul. It bled its way through his fur in clear raindrops and sang into his heart via the thunder. Lightning cracked across the sky off in the distance, adding illumination to a land that had gone dark. It's was in a way peaceful, giving life to a land that dark hooves hadn't walked in a long time.

Letting the storm cleanse his still battered body, Lucifer roamed quietly through the crossing. He was searching for more herd members finally. With Tefnut claiming her own territory and taking the new mare with her, the black beast was both nervous but happy? He didn't fully understand the light emotion in his breast, but he could claim easily enough, that he knew he was proud of her. Watching the dun daughter leave him with her half sibling, Lucifer couldn't be anymore proud.

As his hooves moved over the rain soaked ground, he was brought from his mental pride to a face before him. Taking in the rain soaked mare, Lucifer realized something. No primal need to force this woman to Salem presented itself. A calm peace filled his body and he felt himself lean into it as a turkey, but oddly, gentle smile lined his onyx lips. Her words made his chuckle with true humor as he nodded his large head.

“It really is.” Was his gruff response. Lifting his own head towards the sky, he closed his startling eyes and just let the rain trail down his sun bleached black fur. The cool water seemed to help simmer his inferno frame heart. It was a nice change considering everything he had endured over the past many seasons. “Nothing beats a storm like this.” He rumbled a bit later. Lowering his head to let his red eyes take in the woman, he finally dipped it in true greeting. “My name's Lucifer. It's nice to find someone else that finds these storms beautiful.” Lucifer, for all his nasty, felt more at peace in this type of environment. “May I know your name?”
