Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Rutger
Not until life chose my path.

Darkness blocked every form of vision Rutger had. He couldn't see anything. His taste was also tarnished, thanks to the bile tasting grass he found himself barely managing to choke down. It was a lot, coming back to the Lagoon. He had made his choice, even if it would turn into something he might later regret.

Slowly flicking his ears, the stallion listened as two bodies began to move away from the swamp. He managed to catch their foot falls, but never once moved after them. Be didn't realize they were leaving entirely just yet. Instead, he waited with baited breath until another set began to move in the same direction. Lifting his head at the sounds, Rutger let out a deep sigh before his hooves began to move.

Up ahead, as the moon managed to slink through the trees, he saw Andaxas. He didn't know what was going on, but he followed at a distance. Once his nose picked up the scent of pair and foal though, the stallion held in a groan. Seems a mother was trying to escape with her foal. From the chemicals of her scent, he noticed it was the mare he had kept away from that Atlantis dwelling stallion.

Picking up into a trot, Rutger moved. The farther they went though, the more the stallion realized where they were headed. Heaving a deep breath at that knowledge, Rutger picked up into a long strides canter that had him reaching the lower areas of the Peak, Rutger slowed when he saw what Abraxas did. Looking at the younger male, Rutger sighed. “Abraxas…” He whispered, his thick frame shifting when his head looked skyward towards the two mares he could now seen running their way.

“You never said her as well.” After those words left his lips, Rutger flicked his ears back and listened. If any Lagoon men came, they would see the grey stallion stepping forward, working on passing Abraxas and heading up. If they came, they would see Rutger nod around, sensing the brothers around the Peak mares in hope of stopping the escaping mare.
