Inlet

Nico was too busy looking over his son for any possible wounds when his daughter's young voice surprised him. Thankfully he does not jump, but instead laughs lightly as the little filly leans into his side. He reaches his muzzle towards her to rub his head affectionately along her nearest shoulder.

"Hello beautiful," He says with a smile before his pure white daughter puts her attention on Rhonin. Sometimes he worries about Talei. Her ivory cost matched the pureness of her heart. She was so sweet, too, which meant some evil stallion could take advantage of her one day. If he had his way Talei would never leave their home.

Raini easily distracts him as she bumps up against him. He smiles at her comment, bumping his hip into hers jokingly. "Alright, I guess." He smiles teasingly while happily allowing Talei to take over the play. He needed a break anyway. He watches with Raini as the children play.

Rhonin watches Talei curiously as she aproaches. The older filly says she would race him, but he just stares at her as if she was a stranger. That is until she bumps him. His golden tail fluff wags with energy as his body lowers in a playful stance. He laughs, jumping to the left and then to the right.

"Catch me!" He says before taking off past her back over the openess of the field. It was probably best he run away from the trees before he fell again. The tobaino colt races with all the might his little legs could muster before looking back to see how close she was.

Raini asks Nico how he was doing. They havent gotten to have a good chat in a while so this moment alone with her was nice. He didn't want to waste it. "I have been fine. How are you Raini? What about Tino and Stormy?" He was always worried about their two sons. Both were old enough now to do stalliom things. Tino had even went on his own adventure, but Nico was glad to see him return home.

It all made him think about what Dreamer had said back in the spring. It might be time he replaced Nox.
