You've got to be kidding. "The union should not stop functioning...". It never functions unless it's election time. Stienmetz had 3 years as a the VP to write letters, never heard a peep out of him. But now that a ballot is being mailed to our homes with his name on it he has something to say. What about the other LODDs, ####ty equipment, unbalanced budgets, 2 tiered pension system, broken trial board system, union dues going to defend incarcerated politicians, leaked promotional exam material, a casino that was supposed to be built years ago to shore up our pension fund. Not one article then when all that was happening. But now? Give me a break. The Altman's should be more disgusted with Stienmitz than the Chicago Tribune.
