Feels like remote work is drying up, and expensive non-revenue generating resources are not high-priority. Only prospective employer that would be a good commute from my current house is primarily a broker-dealer, which is not a great fit for me. I keep an eye on their postings nonetheless. I was 100% remote when I bought at my current location. I didn't think remote work was going to last and I was looking for a home closer to the main employment hub for my industry, but inventory was super low when I bought and I panicked when interest rates starting going up, so I ended up out in the burbs.
