Well you simply repeated your own phrase that JUST SAYIN is DISMISSIVE. I think its more a measure of HUMILITY, as if to say, "I'm not putting you down, I just have a humble comment not meant to offend."
Now you can explain why you use the phrase Dear Leader reminding us of how the Kim family of North Korea wants to be addressed...and many of us use the "Dear Leader" phrase to insult Trump for his dictatorial self image wanting to be adored and worshipped.
Exactly who do you think MY Dear Leader is? Kim? Trump? Jesus (I hope not)? Who?
YOu say I change th meaning of words to fit MY idea of communications. Hmm, Well I"m guilty of that, but who isn't? We use words as tools to express ideas. Some of us are more handy with a large variety of words in our toolbox, some aren't. I was taught in J-school to "write to the Kansas City milkman."
Admittedly that's a 75 year old textbook phrase. Can we agree to disagree, or do you disdain pretty much everything I do, say, and play because you don't like me much?
