You're disgusting. That death was another horrible tragedy; but you using it for your personal beefs makes me sick.
Every truck has 2 TICs, every engine has a TIC, every squad has 3 TICS and and every chief has a TIC. At a working fire, there are 14 TICs on the fireground. Add another 7 on the box. There are probably a whole bunch of things that could have prevented this, but more TICs isn't one of them.
Let's start with asking his officer what his TIC showed; and then ask the squad who was reportedly right next to him what their TIC(s) showed.
But we won't do that...the truth is too painful. The vast majority of this department's tactics, training, and officers absolutely suck and we have been far more lucky than good this past decade or so.
You want to make a difference? Have an honest look at your company and its true performance level and do everything you can to make it better instead #### post here.
