Sorry for my previous confusion. The older I get the more it happens, darn-it!
Spoilers.
Alex and Gorka had a nervous start to the first set with some bad serving and some missed balls. But they rallied and started putting things together. Toward the end of the set, Basque was put under pressure and started making mistakes.
Alex and Gorka came out stronger in the second set and for awhile it looked like they were going to sail to the finish. But then Urreisti rallied a bit and a few mistakes were made such as an ill-advised outside serve. Just when it looked like there might be a comeback, Urreisti started making errors and Alex turned it on. Of note- there was a beautiful high-bounce carom by Alex from an intercepted kill-shot, that had people on their feet cheering. So ballsy!
While Alex's serving was inconsistent, he did succeed with some aces on the low-fast serve, as well as one very nice high-bouncer.
Alex and Gorka make a great team and I hope they get to team up again in the future.
