My fellow Brothers and Sisters, I am surprised at the silence that I see on this board. As we all know there are eleven, 11, of our Brothers on the line for the cost, $115,000, or there abouts, for our failed attempt at getting a clarification via a Declaratory Action reference to our pension fund administration. Be that as it may, our Brothers acted at our request and with our approval as evidenced by our contributions of over $315,000 in legal fees paid to Mr. Carrington. I can assure you that these monies were derived for more than the 11 Brothers and the action taken was at the request of the majority of our members. Well, no matter how we try to change the outcome it is becoming abundantly clear that the cost will have to be paid. Exactly how much isn't quite known at this time but some amount will be due and payable by our association. The same as the litigation cost were borne by a majority of our association that same majority now has to pay their share of the burden. We tried to correct what we perceived as a wrong and we lost. Now we ALL have to bear our just portion of whatever the awarded or agreed to amount may be. Let us not sit back and see what happens we need to start sending in our share of the cost. I can only say that if we all contributed the bill would be relatively small, a couple of hundred dollars. I am sure that this may be a burden to some, so imagine having to bear $10,500 as the named eleven will have to do if the majority of the members do not support our recovery as they supported our battle.
