Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Freedom took a step toward the unconcious brute, sniffing him lightly. She touched her black nose to the white fur under his neck, feeling a pulse, black rimmed golden ears flicking to hear his breathing. "I think he's ok..." she said softly. "He's just passed out. Probably from all that magic." Something in her mind told her she should still be warry, that logical, sensical part of the pup.. But her heart said different. Here lay a stranger, only a few months older than she, who had risked his life to save them. Why? Who would do such a thing at such an age? Valor... courage and curtousy.

Akemi froze, fur dropping back into place. "Kuroha?" Her voice was soft, violet eyes widenening in realization. She looked the black and white tattooed brute up and down. There, in him, she saw her chest.. Her strong legs, her shape in almost every way. Even the way he stood, she looked down at herself, same. Taking a step closer to the brute, she stuttered, "D-dad?"

In his mind, vague ghosts of voices swam about the young winged wolf. Not only the voices of the strangers around him, but his mother, his brothers, his sisters, and his father. Yet, even in this crowd, this sea of souls, he felt secluded. They felt so far away... A reflection of how Polera always felt even when he was surrounded by others. Outcast... Solitary... Lonely.
