Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Finally, the tiger cub was growing! She had reached 5 months and rivaled that of a good sized wolf but with the enhanced physique and musculature of her species; Siberian Tiger. Her brother had situated himself in Kuna, and Anya had preferred to stay away from pack life. While he had something to work for, Anya didn’t. She only lived her life, but of course after a while other stimulus would be needed. She knew there was more to life—of so she had been told—that simply living it, but as for how to live it, she was just going with whatever happened. On that note, she was in a rather darkly playful mood. Raw Tanzanite eyes roved over the area, searching for something to play with; maybe a chase near the mountains peak? Or maybe even meet a new being never encountered before. One of the downsides of being solitary was that her social skills weren’t the norm, and quite possibly to a wolf to the extreme.

Out of simple boredom she had decided to venture to a still new area for her. She had been around Ice Mountain before, and in the summer months she had even started to become intimate with the area and the mountain itself, and unknowingly her daily ventures were strengthening her in more ways than one. One such thing she had noticed was just how badly she had stuck out against the pale colors of the mountain landscape. The deep violet base coat was characteristically striped in black, and so trying to hunt around a snowy area at the higher altitudes proved nearly impossible. Of course young age and inexperience were in play. But nevertheless, she tried to stick around the barren sides of the mountain, where the various grays and blacks dominated over the pastel silvers and white of the snow and ice. Mountain life had proven as interesting as it had been challenging, and it hadn’t been without its lessons.

However, at this particular moment she was out and about, quietly stalking around her temporary home in search of a game to pass the time whilst she thought of where she would live next. Lowering her head over a ledge she focused on the happenings below her, an ear swiveling to an echoed sound above. Crouching, she suddenly leapt off the mountain side and with the use of her Fly blessing she sprouted ebon wings tinted purple-and the illusions of the light and ice reflecting off of them the purple was hardly perceived, but there nonetheless. She rose in elevation to the peak itself, and here the snow and ice dominated without question. She circled around to the other side before landing on a firm ledge of stone slick with ice- wings disappearing instantaneously. From her new vantage point, she sat herself down, the grin on her maw showing just how much she was enjoying playing “Queen of the Mountain”. But with her young nature still clinging to her being, it wouldn’t be long until she was off to do something else.
