Good, an observant canine. The tiger paused a respectable distance away. He really wasn't in the mood for a lover's revenger. The confirmation of his thoughts was only strengthened when Rapier said Takeshi smelled of someone he'd recently been acquainted with. "Acquianted?" Takeshi said, raising his brow.

"Smells like you were a little more than acquainted with her," he said, the smile playing on his muzzle. Maybe curiousity of the best of the cat, or maybe he found it amusing Rapier was so casual over the blood of someone who claimed to be this brute's mate was smeared all over Takeshi's front. "But you don't seem to really care that she is very likely dead," the tiger commented absently.

"Perhaps my curiousity is getting the best of me," he began, blue eyes still watching Rapier, clearly amused by this encounter, "Why don't you care?" Takeshi was not familiar with the brute's ways, so naturally he wanted to know. It might just make the death he dealt all the more thrilling, especially if his idle comment of abandonment was actually true.
