Niyol had drifted away from Ice pack again. He didn't know where his mother and siblings went. It was as if they'd disappeared off the face of the mountain. Even Wyra had gone off somewhere to do... whatever it was the dragon did. So, Niyol settled for exploring on his own again. The mostly white pup padded along through the snow along Traydon river, mildly interested in the running water.

He was more aware of his surroundings than most pups might be. There was a loss of that playful air most pups had. Niyol was less than trusting, his icy blue eyes gave that away to anyone who dared to look. It was a shame really, the pup who couldn't really be a pup. But he still had a mind for exploring. Ice pack held much, but when he managed to get up the mountain, he saw so much more. It was in seeing the expanse of Wolf Mountain proper and the surrounding region that Niyol felt his calling. He would go and see it all. Today, that exploration came to Traydon River.
