aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Darkness Rules ( Pack Meeting all in)

Wind blows across the tree tops, leaves dance in the sky. The once dry rustle of leaves is just a soft whisper. Spring was fast upon us, my puppies are now a week old, though I have yet to get an answer from Majestic as to whether he would be staying. I make my way with two puppies dangling from my jaws. The journey is short taking mere minutes. I place them down at my feet and send out a soft call to Akina. A simple sound almost like the chuff of a large cat, asking simply for her to accept my puppies for a short time. I then turn and leave, knowing the she wolf would move my two young inside the warm den. I then turn and head back to the fallen oak. The white male is no where to be scented, he must have stepped out to relieve himself. My maw wraps around my last puppy and my only female Rai.
Soon enough I arrive back at Akina’s den once more. My two male cubs had already been moved inside. I step inside and place my darling little girl beside her two brothers, offering Akina a small smile before turning and making me way out of the den.
My black bodice travels less than twenty feet away, yet far enough most would be out of eye sight of the den. Not that it mattered to me, I could not see my pups or the den even if I was standing less than an inch away.
I take a moment to listen to the silence of the land, though not completely silent. Life bustled around, birds sing and wolves wander somewhere within the lands. I close my bloody white orbs, my skull tilts back tipping my muzzle skyward. A song is released from my maw, a haunting tone that danced within ones brain box and lured you closer to the singer.
It is passed time for a pack meeting, new members needed to meet old members, small puppies needed to be formally accepted into the pack. This would also give freedom a chance to interact with his pack for only the second time. However, I do sense time with the young alpha is short with the return of Titan.
My song ends and the very land itself seems to fall silent, as if she is holding her breathe. My banner sits comfortably in the position of beta. Lately I had missed being an alpha, however I respected my king to much to fight for the lands that had once been mine. To be honest it had always been mine, even when I am not the queen. Or maybe I myself belonged to the land. It did not matter whether I rule or not, this land is home to me. So as it is I am content in my place just living and breathing in these lands, and being apart of a family. Even if I do tend to stick more to myself, however I was hoping to get a hunt up and running. Many new and old members needed to learn to work together as a pack. With so many mouths to feed the kill from the last hunt is nothing but bones by now.
My bloody white orbs open as I stand in the clearing, my large black frame open for all to see, waiting silently for the wolves of the land to arrive.
