The female was remarkable, Cashel could tell already; she was alert, and strangely focused on him, though he couldn't tell quite why... it certainly couldn't be that he was all that interesting, he knew that. Interesting-LOOKING, sure, but otherwise Cash considered himself pretty dull. Shy, awkward, unsure of himself - no wonder he didn't know many others, didn't have any friends to speak of.

But it wasn't time for a pity party, and Cashel smiled a little at her sit, deciding to do the same. He lowered himself into a sit, his gangly, long legs looking a little jumbled - not that Urumi seemed to mind. He glanced her over, not appraisingly, just noticing the little nuances about her appearance with a quiet smile. She was certainly pretty, though it was a little unsettling that she didn't really look at him, not entirely. He fixed his wings, rolling his shoulders back and smiling a little at her comments.

"Ah, yeah," he said softly, shaking his head and pawing a little at his fish. "It's not so bad here. I like fishing in Traydon much better than at the Wild River... let me tell you," he said, laughing. Cashel tilted his head as she asked if she was intruding, then shook it wildly, giving a laugh and a snort. "No, not at all," he said merrily, tail wagging a little.

"Oh - Urumi?" he replied, testing the name. Pretty. "I'm Cashel," he introduced, ears pinning back; it was still a bit odd that she wouldn't just /look/ at him, but he didn't want to be rude himself. "Would you, um... would you like some fish, Urumi?"
