During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The wind blew my multi-colored pelt in different directions, showing off the many prizes that grew in my lifetime. Pink lines grazed my skin, long healed and no pain that still stung the tiny wounds. It just so happened my cloak was anything but dirty, giving a more smooth and handsome look to the thinning fur. Winter was coming to a close by now, and the fluff that protected me from the cold was beginning to shed quickly, leaving tiny strands of fur to fly into the air unseen. Well it comes and goes, just like everything in life. Chocolate brown eyes scanned the treeline carefully, but patience was held within my relieved muscles and I breathed in the scents silently. I recalled seeing some wolves at the borders-mostly all of them awaiting the alphess, who had yet to show to them, but turns out she never will be back. Not any time soon anyway. Shifting in my stance, a distant aroma caught my attention, and I found the scent to be a male by my assumptions. It wasn't long before he broke through the brush and into the open, allowing me to take in the boy's frame. The midnight hued cloak that clung to his body shown no sight any other color than the black, but as I watched his first approach I didn't even try to hide my disdain. The manner was cocky and arrogant, and it caused my own oculurs to harden slightly, my expression to stay phlagmetic for the time being. Under my deep gaze I knew there would be a bit of fidgeting, it was intense and dangerous, which made many wolves uncomfortable. My mood suddenly lightened as the hessian wasted no time to drop to the ground below my paws, exposing his neck and vital areas vulnerably. For some reason I was not expecting to see him drop down to the ground, I would have been happy with a simple bow to show his respect, but instead I stepped forward with muscles quivering in my stride as my perked audettes caught his words. Johnny, or Nny in his case, seemed to at least have enough manners to ask for acceptance, and it brough that twisted smirk back to my labias. Lowering my head, I let my ivories and lips tease the boy's neck to show my dominance over him, and then simply stepped back to give him space to stand.

"Welcome, Johnny, to the lands of Munashii Gekko. I am the new alpha, Volbeat."

The words that left my maw were in a simple manner, straight to the point and nothing more. When I'm sure that everyone has arrived, there will be more articulation and information to linger in their minds. As of now, they shall have to deal with my short greetings. There was only a short time before my ears caught another sound, and my tri-colored crown turned in the direction to find a fatale padding swiftly into the clearing. For a moment I let my orbs to take in her multi-gray hued pelt and linger on her unique silvery colored optics, taking in the slight pull of her lips and watching as she, too, wasted no time to drop to the ground in submission. Before I had time to react, she nodded her head in my direction as my line of vision crossed hers, and I nodded simply back; a stern, quick nod that showed my acknowledgment. No words were said, and the silence stretched on as my body stepped forward to her, repeating my process of giving the vixen's neck a slight shake with my jowls and then stepping back once again to give the varg space to rise.

"Please rise, my new warrior, and take a seat while we await my others."

A smile that portrayed a sense of happiness due to the fact the gal had chosen Munashii Gekko as her new homelands, but there was nothing more, other than the dangerous aura. Perhaps it was a good thing that the lupines that have come to my presence have much patience, for I have no tolerance of such wolves with impatient and deadly looks of disrespect. Speaking of . . . I let my chocolate optics wander to the next demoness whom was pranced gracefully into the clearing, and I saw the immediate disliking when she layed her eyes on me. Narrowing my own optics, my expression became stern and serious as she keeps her distance from the other two of her soon to be packmates. Avoiding eye contact with me, I see she stares to the right of me-or should I say, her left. At least that was some respect, but anyone could tell that it was for a different reason rather than the word. The vixen took her time to approach, not caring if the others-and I- were watching her and waiting for her to come into earshot. The smilar pelted girl eventually halted and lowered herself into a formal bow, considerable enough that I would accept it and I nod in response to her lyrics before letting my own lilting lyrics flow forward, this time not caring if my strange accent threw forward.

"Welcome, Totoro."

There wasn't much to say besides that, other than the gal didn't intrude considering I called for all wishing to join, and it's not like she was the wanting to say anything in particular anyways, I could tell this wasn't the place she preferred. Oh well, again I say: Deal with it. Immediatly turning away my attention from the demoness, I watched yet another female enter the group. Well, I should have guessed there would be so many of their gender, reasons being of my own sexy-beastness, but then again I didn't think there would be this many, and continue to be growing. The multi colored female moving our way held nothing but pure hatred within her gaze, including the danger and cold stare that haunted many others. Although I would have been happier with more respect from the girl, I couldn't blame her due to the pack's dark way about it. It was something that came natural. My domain was for the cold ones, dark from inside out. I was damned to a evil filled life, and I'm sure these varg's stories weren't much different than my own. The single word that ejaculated from her maw was growled in a way that I surely didn't like to hear, especially when she was talking to someone who has the dominance over her welcome. Raising my hackles lightly, I hardened my eyes in warning to her as she chose to sit back onto her haunches, but I did not say a word- nothing but silence. If she wanted to be that way, then so be it, but I will not tolerate it towards me.

The rustling of leaves caused me to turn away from the disrespect and to something more lovely. The small girl broke the treeline, brushing up against Totoro's side accidentally and immediatly recoiling from the touch. Whoopsies. My gaze glanced to see Totoro's reaction before turning back to the young teen as she continued on with her expedition. It wasn't long before her line of vision caught my scar, and the surprising reaction that displayed caused me to raise my eyebrows. By the look of her bounding toward me, I could tell she was on the verge from pup to teen, and was easily amused and fascinated. There wasn't a way to control her emotions; but in time one could change them into something more of my kind. Retracting my head backwards a little as she stretches her muzzle, salmon tongue lapping out numerous times in attempt to catch the line on the side of my muzzle. The unexpected twist to it caused me to growl in slight frustration, but then resulted in a final chuckle as I lifted my paw to push her away to find she had already shrunk down and moved. Swift on her paws fur such a young age. For a moment she contemplated on what to do next, as though she didn't know, but then again she shouldn't know unless her mentor had taught her at a very young age, but then again if she had one in the first place they would have been here to aid her. Either way she had made up her mind, lowering herself into an awkward bow before rolling over, her short tail tapping against the terra firma. My scar? Well all be damn, why is she so fascinated with the damn thing? I know it is quite interesting, but not that much. Oh well, found out Jersey was her name. The maiden's voice rang out, truelly emotionless, but the cute rasp of a puppy's voice still clung to it's depths. Once again I chimed a low, husky chuckle.

"Glad you found your way to Munashii Gekko, stranger. I am Volbeat. You can rise now."
