The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

he who lives on hope will die fasting

Fallacy was manufactured for war. Her long years of training served no purpose but to make her a killer, a polished tool to place in the ends of some alpha. She could not be easily utilized in times of peace, yet, despite all that, Fallacy had no distinct love of war. Her feelings on it were not pronounced. She was immune to the petty, foolish emotions that dictated liking and disliking. One could say that she disliked pain, not to the extent that some wolves did, and she liked the lack of it, but again, not to a normal extent. One who knew this lean, yet well muscled girl would say that, without a doubt, she was a soulless being. It had taken experienced trainers three years of nonstop effort to create the perfect weapon out a malleable pup. From birth she had been chosen, and until two years ago, she had been a useful member of a very draconian pack. Of course, then a few issues had caused her to get exiled, at which point she conveniently joined Kershov's army.

Fallacy was always the sort of wolf to promptly answer her lord's summons. Although she did not do a lot of work around the pack, she was constantly on standby, waiting for specific orders. The icy assassin was chest deep in a cold pool of water, washing off blood from a training exercise when the rotund howl of her alpha had echoed across the land. The lass emerged, pristine, from the depths of the pool. After thoroughly shaking her muscled chassis, the faerie travelled toward the sound. Her paws made no sound on the forest floor as she headed toward the cry.

It probably took about five minutes for the maiden to arrive at the place. She was not dry; her fur was mussed, perhaps for the first time in her alpha's presence, though she did not expect him to notice. Fallacy's tail was limp and her posture neutral as she wove her way around the last of the gnarled trees and stepped into the clearing. She did a quick scan of the clearing, noting their positions, but not looking at any of the three in particular, as was her habit as a killer. Her deadened brown eyes found Kershov's ivory form after a moment. She dipped her head cordially in his direction, but said nothing to him. Fallacy was not a wolf to speak until spoken too.
