aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

The air, the smell, it was confusing to Cody. Sin, he could smell her. His brain is at first confused. She had been gone for so long, and when the first howl for the whole pack to gather without their alpha, she appears. Cody feels unsure of how he should feel, how he should react to the situation. She had come back to Aurora before when there had been a long, dead silence that stretched upon the lands. At her return, Cody had come back as well. That was the moment that he had devoted himself to the lands. He had expected Sin to have come back to protect her home alongside with the pack. Yet, right after the meeting, she had vanished. Cody was a teenager back then. Now, a young adult. He could smell her old scent, the memory of her. Yet his eyes did not spy her yet. His attention is clasped quickly by a quickly approaching familiar figure. With a smile of relief, his eyes focus only on Zig. He begins to stand from his sitting position to greet Zig, but before the white wolf knows what happened, he finds himself pinned against the cool winter floor, his black front leg raising itself towards Zig and shifting his body to a less awkward position. He lets out gentle laughter, but his emotion is the same as it had been before. He looks at Zig, a look that tells her she is crazy. Back? Cody feels a bit confused at her statement. "Zig, I had never left." He answers, before adding with a softer voice, "I'm not going anywhere." he finishes. This was his home, He would not leave it. So far, Cody had been faithful to his home of Aurora Borealis, and he planned to keep things as such. He begins to rise from the ground, gently shaking his body as he inches himself up, before he freezes at the sound of Sin.

So it wasn't just his mind playing tricks on him. She really had come back. He remains silent, confused, mixed with emotions. Part of him wanted to simply ask a million questions to the old alphess. His head told him, however, that the time was not right. He would surely, without any sort of doubt, have a talk later with her. He did not know if anyone knew where she had been, and if she planned once more on leaving, he would make sure she would at least leave telling the whole pack what she was doing and why. Without knowing what is going on, the pack would enter another silence if not informed properly. Not only does it weaken the pack, but it becomes vulnerable. While Sin was off and Cody minded his everyday boring life doing nothing, he had noticed a pack that had grown strong. The word got around, and it was clearly visible. The pack held prisoners, and Cody was not ready at all to have any part of his family be taken as prisoners. An alpha was needed to lead. If Sin had not shown at this meeting, Cody would have surely taken charge, in order to protect. Before he knows it, more wolves. New the pack, just a bit. He unfreezes as he is greeted by the mother and pups, and he begins to stand, smiling at Zig, then shaking the drops of snow out of his pelt. His gaze is solid. His thoughts were making Cody desperate for answers. Just as he feels his throat want to release sound for Zig, his eyes catch the other who he had been looking for.

How Cody had missed her, he had no idea. He quickly, his proud tall stance softened just as his eyes did, as he walked closer to her. "Vela..." He says softly, before stopping next to her. His ears pulled back, and he rubbed his plush covered head to her shoulder. He hadn't seen her in so long, his body was now bigger, but she looked the same to him. He inhaled softly, before pulling away to look at her for a moment more. He knew he had quite a crush on the girl. But now that he was by her, a spark ran crazily through his body. This meeting sure was very important, but afterwards, he would either go spend some time with his close friend Zig or he would try and get a bit of time for himself and Vela. He had never felt feelings such as these, so he was unsure of what to do, but surely, spending time with the beauty would reveal answers for him. He pulls his head upwards, before smiling at the pup Vela had spoken to and moving a few feet away, his body held high, he watched the new wolf walk into the scene. Her steps hold integrity within each step, and Cody admires it. Two wolves held their posture high at this meeting, though for different reasons. Cody, because he was strong, mentally tough, and proud. Sin because she was the alpha. The she wolf passes by Sin, walking over to Cody, and he only nods to her. He makes his tail visible the her, clearly, but does not slouch his body one bit. Despite him being the one who called the meeting to assemble and his scent being around the lands much more than Sin, the lands were not his. Yet he smiles gently to the new wolf. Out of the corner of his eye at that moment he sees kong, away from the pack. The ranked male away from the group, kept his distance, but Cody does not comment. Kong seems... different, and the way he held his eyes to the newcomer made Cody a bit concerned.

Her voice rings through, and he listens carefully to her formal, respectful greeting. My eyes turn towards sin, face straight of emotion. Unfortunately, she remains silent and emotionless. He simply turns his attention back to the newcomer. The alphess did nothing, so Cody simply spoke a greeting back to the female. "Hello. Thank you for coming to see our pack." He says, his voice formal as well, but his fluffed tone is woven through, creating a formal-casual tone. He watches as he sits a bit detached from the circle and his eyes turned back to Kong. Kong seemed.... uneasy. Well, from what Cody could see. Cody moved closer to the newcomer, just in case, shooting a nod to Kong, as if it were to somehow help ease him. Cody wasn't sure if he had seen him send the nod or not, but he continued to move until he was a couple feet away from the newcomer. Here, he sat, his posture comfortable but upward. He originally was going to lead the pack meeting, but the crazy turn of events forced him to wait and see what happens next. His attention was sharp. If Sin remained silent, the Cody would speak up and discuss pack business with everyone.
