The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

What Is This World Coming To? [PACK MEETING]
IP: 216.96.227.41

Had the young lass ever expected to become the queen of this fine land? Hell no. She had no delusions. As much as she had been her mother's daughter, always striving to please the stern lady who once roamed these lands, Cade had always known, deep down, that Quirino was Seline's favorite, even if she did constantly threaten to kill him. Quirino was the fighter, the warrior. He had long past earned the scars that most Satanicans earned in their teenhood, those same scars that Cade's chest was barren of because when Seline had disappeared, so had Cade for a time. The adult that was returning to Andere Seite was stronger and taller than when she had left as a teen and admittedly, probably weaker if her brother had any say because she'd gone out and done something stupid like finding love. As a matter of fact, that was exactly what she had done. She was expecting Latios to make an appearance at some point, but for now, she had made it back to the borders as a lone figure.

Pausing at the border to sniff out who had come and gone recently, she was a little dismayed to find that the only scent she could really distinguish as fresh was Quirino's. Had her brother scared everyone off or was he simply the only one she could expect to be loyal because he was the only one who had stayed? She knew he wasn't home regardless, however. Despite being away, Cade had kept up on the happenings of Andere, training a younger wolf by the name of Kippling to gather reports for her. The little male had a bit of a crush on Cade who of course worked it to her advantage and manipulated him in the same way her mother would have. The vixen had sent Kippling packing once she had determined that Seline had gone AWOL and Qui seemed only interested in defending the pack land, not ruling it. Returning home had been a priority before she met Latios and found herself...delayed for a while.

Sighing with a mixed feeling of comfort and annoyance, Cade crossed the thresh-hold and ever so slowly curled pulled her ivory banner up over her spine. In a way, it felt wrong. Seline was supposed to be here, bossing around everyone, barking orders, pretending to be seduced by the males of the pack. Instead, Cade was here, a lithe, figure to bolt in and steal the crown. 'It's for the best,' she reminded herself as she continued on, heading in the direction of the usual clearing for pack meetings. She'd only been there a few times, often missing pack meetings when she was a pup because she and Qui were such little trouble makers. Her lips twitched in a small, bare smile at the thought of reuniting with her brother. Arriving at the clearing, she instictually went for the highest ground in the open space, a fair sized boulder that had once held most likely every alpha to ever rule here. The odd thought that she was adding her name to that list popped into her skull for a brief moment before she shoved it out and considered what exactly she should say to get everyone's attention and call them to her. The longer she considered it, the angrier she felt about sitting in the clearing alone and the lack of activity she had sensed. Now normally Cade wasn't a hot head. Fiery, yes, but not an angry, completely brutal wolfess. Unfortunately for everyone else, she was having a moment when she tilted back her skull and poured out the pent up frustration into an angry message.

"Anyone who intends to continue living here better get their asses to this clearing now! So help me, I will hunt you down if you don't..."

Her howl trailed off, leaving an open ended threat to anyone who didn't make an appearance. Dropping her skull and reclining into the oh so annoying time sucking abyss that was waiting, Cade felt somewhat better for having driven her anger out. She wondered if Seline was proud of her, but in all honesty, Cade knew that the real challenges hadn't even started yet. Those would come when Andere Seite's ranks were rebuilt from the ashes.
