After a playful meeting with the animated male, the silvery pelted femme watched as he bounded off through the snow, heading into the trees with a spring in his step. She glanced towards Carmen with a look both confused and elated. In a heartbeat her morning had gone from dull and dreary to bewildering with promise of adventure. Though she knew next to nothing about Jack Frost except, she thought with a snicker, that to Eris his name was Frossy, the way he seemed to live his life and the reckless aura that surrounded him drew the snowy female to him. His song had hinted at freedom and chaos, a lifestyle that appeased her and he in person seemed to live by.
Suddenly Karma kicked out into a leap as she landed in light indentations made by Jack Frost a few moments earlier. Her paws, positioned where his had been, seemed to blend into the layer of snow that had already fallen. The mischievous femme looked up to the sky in delight as more continued to fall. A promise carried in the breeze whispered its sweet melody into her ears; it called to her with the mysteries of winter and futures of long snow fall. Karma’s tail wagged continuously, her eyes alight with a burning spike of passionate energy. Looking at her, one couldn’t tell that she’d been abandoned only a year earlier. The teen had easily put it behind her and fallen into a life of adventurous chaos. Luckily she now had a group to share that with.
With a wide grin, the femme darted off into the wintery landscape, leaving the clearing of stones behind as she tracked the slightly younger male’s scent and paw tracks. The snow was steadily covering them up, but that didn’t worry her in the slightest. In fact, it made the lithe femme speed up with the joy of ice and wind pushing her on. Her strides were more like playful leaps, holding some sort of grace that she’d grow into by the time she reached adulthood. Her coat glistened and glowed, reflecting back the sunlight like a rare diamond, and she twisted through the trees with ease.
Despite the energy her eyes commanded are her stride spoke of, Karma tired after a while of running. Knowing the look in the male’s eyes, it spoke of an idea that would involve her full strength. As Carmen passed by her, the white femme stopped at a stream not yet claimed by winter’s icy fingers. Streaks of frozen water curled around the narrow banks, yet the water flowed on relentlessly. She bent down to take a drink of the refreshing fluid, relishing in the cold that slid through her body. She shook her pelt, some of the snowflakes previously camouflaged within its luscious thickness falling from her body, then turned to continue following Jack Frost.
The teen slowed somewhat as she scented packs. Where on earth was he taking them? Though not afraid, she had been somewhat cautious of the packs of Blossom Forest; being a lone teen confronted by a group loyal to one another wasn’t exactly in her plan. She thought of the faces she had seen today and the slight hesitation was swept away with a leap of her heart as adrenaline coursed her body. Of course! With a group of them bothering one of the packs would be much easier, and more fun if you have somebody to share the thrill with.
Karma lightened her steps as she approached the borders of the infamous Abendrot pack. Well, she hadn’t been wrong about Jack Frost at least. Abendrot was known for its soldiers and if they were captured causing trouble they’d be done for. She breathed a small sigh of relief that she hadn’t run here straight out, even if it meant she had arrived slightly later. She was still in good enough energies to slip past pack members and make a dashing run for it if she was seen. A broad grin stretched across the playful teen’s face as she spotted Jack Frost and Carmen nearby. Under normal circumstances she would have tried to ambush the male and entice him to play, but this was a pack invasion and they would have to remain near silent for it to work. She eyed Carmen before stepping up to them, caution written over her face. She couldn’t tell why, but deep down she could tell the other femme was trouble. Shaking off those thoughts, she growled to herself; they needed to work together, not be mistrusting.
With a small spring, Karma landed near the others, grin still on her angelic face. Her pristine coat settled as she came to a stand still, turning to address the leader of their strange group first. "Is this some sort of test, mirror image?" she laughed a little, "If we can follow you all the way across Blossom Forest in the snow, we’re worthy to join you on your adventure?" She dipped her head in greeting to Carmen before turning back, tail still wagging and ears perked. She was already on the lookout for danger, but they should be far enough away from the borders to not be detected if they were quiet.
