The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Sierra lifted her skull once more; a lighter scent of a male drifted through the air and heavy paw steps to accompany it. She was cautious but could not deny the approval of being in another wolf’s presence. She had been lonesome without a friend or a companion; wondering from one shadow to another - gazing longingly into packs with their youth. Her tail swayed softly as she realised that he sounded friendly with a soft welcome. “Hi,” she answered and then drew herself up to a sitting position. “What is your name? - my title is nothing more than Sierra; it means ‘saw’ though I do not understand why.” Her voice was gracious and easy. Her petite paws lifted up and down softly, uncomfortable slightly being in the presence of a wolf she could only just make out. He was large - larger than Sierra had ever seen in her time and as her gazers wondered down his mighty frame she noticed his even larger paws - or rather the shape and outline of them. Her eyes darted down to her own paws and then back to his before redirecting them politely up to the outline of his face. “What colour is your fur?” She enquired.

Sierra’s eye sight was rather poor, having hidden into the shadows her eyes had grown accustomed to the darkness - she hunted and drank at dawn and remained exploring and lingering the shadows all around her. Though many wolves smelt her little took interest in her - and the ones who did she would run from. She understood that she would not be able to get away from this brute for he was blocking the exit but he seemed kind enough. “How old are you, stranger?” She asked, her bright olive eyes staring into the figure filled with black. Sierra was a very curious wolf, she was not after a mate though many would have guessed she was after that question. She liked asking questions and answering them - she found it was the only option if you wanted to learn about someone or even the world. Her small bodice huddled into the back of the cave, concerned that she was the only wolf around apart from this brute. He could have done anything to her and no one would have guessed. No one knew her.

Her limbs jumped up and skidded past the brute - deeper into the cavern, her banner swaying softly. Sierra’s muzzle turned and let a muffled bark escape which wolves’ would understand as ‘come and join me.’ She would not fear him if they walked; there would be more time to escape or at least to run. Her paws steps did not echo for they were silent and light - even at her quick pace the girl only had muffled echo’s from the scrape of a pad. “So, do you come here often?” She asked. “This is my first time and I must confess that it is a rather lovely place - though I’m sure many wolves would cower in it’s presence. No idea why.” She spoke, her lyrics naïve and dainty if even a little mad. Now that she was slightly closer she could smell his fragrance even better - and it caused her to feel sick.

She hadn’t been this close to a wolf since the bear trampled into the clearing and robbed her off her brother. They had both been teens then - but only young ones, easy prey for bears. Sierra sighed softly - she had never been close to a wolf after that and left to fend for herself when she reached the age of two.
