Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Her arrival had only been a thing of recent realization, alone still she had no plot to sooth her loneliness just yet. Ebbing to the swooning in her stomach she thought to the very fervent lack of stock to fill her angry stomach. Flushed with cool water to calm her thirst and fresh from the late of day that granted her some calm clarity to muffle her exhaustion. Tail sweeping gracefully behind her and in motion she tucked in and allowed her voracious appetite to lead her. reaching the point where once dewdrop points of forms in the distance were just a curious thing she fell wide eyed to the display that soon stretched out before her. The bounty of the throne room in wolfish terms. The masses were quite an intriguing sight to behold, first the few stray stragglers young and fresh of their mother's care. Tiny rabbits hopping about ignorant to the danger that circled all around them, the landscape also swollen with the presence of other wolves hungry and aimed to fulfill the need to feed.

She didn't think to skip a note and consider what her options were, to hunt along with the others or alone, though for the time being she was at the outside looking on racing droves charging away from the carnivores. The first slipped a little too close to the ebon lady and she lunged with frightening precision. Her jaws collapsing on the tiny body let out the woeful cry of fear and pain that muffled the crackling sound of bones breaking. So fixated on her furious hunger she tossed back and bit down spilling in part the remnants that could not fit between her teeth. Fur, flesh, bone and blood fused into the grass beneath her in uneven heaps as she swallowed, then turned to retrieve the rest with a few quick gulps. Livened then she turned and swept away into the hoard, breaking the small bodies and wolfing them down as quickly as possible. Perhaps in such desperation she would find herself swollen and uncomfortable later but it was an afterthought, one she ignored for now. She had gone hungry for far too long this time, it would never happen again.
