Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

these people keep to themselves,

Danger? In her? Hah! She was only as dangerous as they let her be; she took only what they offered (that wasn't to say she didn't pester for what she wanted, though) and left little trace of her ever being there. What was so dangerous about a girl wanting something and knowing how to get it? She saw nothing wrong with it so why did the male in front of her seemed to surprised when she spoke? Of course, the same could have been said for her - she raised a brow at his response. One of them, huh? She'd encountered the asexuals before - or so she considered them - and they were, well, unusual for her. Most men were easily won over by some flattery and mystery but perhaps she'd met her match so to say. Well, let the games begin! She was unfaltering in her disguise, her face lighting up into the same grin despite the male's obvious distate for her attitude.

"Oh my, you sure know how to get a lady talking, don't you? Formal greetings - oh! I am a Princess," she laughed airily, lifting up a paw and dangling it out in front of her as she tossed her head back in her exclamation, "In which case, please do call me Princess d'Mani - Heir to Nothing!"

With her response complete, she proceeded in her silence - half smirk and raised brow as she awaited his response. As lonely as she truly was, she had a particular knack for fending off potential companions; they wanted to get inside her and make room in her heart just so they could leave or be killed in some ridiculous freak accident. Sure, he'd come to her with honest intentions but he did not want her which meant he wanted something else. Her tail flopped out lazily as he responded once more, his words just as flat as ever - huh, so she'd managed to suck all the cheer out of him so fast. A shame really because he was almost good at playing her game - almost.

"And if I was trouble? Would you pack up now and get out of town while you still had the chance?" she queried, batting her lashes and tilting her head with her mouth falling into a soft, questioning 'o'. "Run back home to your happy little family and wonderful little pack, huh? Wouldn't that be nice."

Spiteful? A little. Still deeply wounded by the loss of her home and family? More than a little. She couldn't help it - she'd had a mother for barely a year before the world had taken her. Motherly figures were out of the question, as were the Fatherly; so maybe she had a few issues to fix but until they were, she was much more content filling the void with snippy words and flirtatious play. If anybody wanted to rent a room in her heart then they'd sure as hell have to work hard to pay the rent.

Her ears flattened against her skull, her delicate features crumpling into a scowl as her gaze fixated upon Apache's. Her words were airy, light though they carried with them the sickness of longing - the longing for somebody to break through the shell and pull out some normality from within her. Anything.

"Girls and boys don't make small talk anymore, so what is it you want from me? I don't have anything to offer you, okay? I have no food and I sure as hell don't have a den big enough for the two of us if a home is what you're looking for."
