aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Magic's layrics faded out through the trees as she ended her monologe. Her voice dipped in and out of the trees as it faded into silence. She dipped her head in respect, and did in fact move a little, knowing Unmoglitch would be on her tail. She sat closer to the group of lupines, making sure that Kong didn't have to turn his head if he wanted to look at the pair from whatever speech he would be picking up at again. She looked up as a brute stood and addresed himself, pronouncing the title of Chiron with ease. From the way he smelled, Magic coould easily pick up that the brute was fairly new to these lands as well; the way a different scent mingled with that of Aroura Borealis. "It is very nice to meet you, Chiron." She looked around again at the other wolves sitting among the clearing. She noticed a gray brute, and thought to herself that he could have possibly requested to be an alpha. Magic thought that he would actually be a wonderful choice. The way he held his head up high was a sign that she knew was great. He had power in his shoulders, and the square of his chest said that when one was hit by him, they went down hard. Kal was his name. She knew that any wolf could see he would make a wonderful addition to any pack that he desired. She also noticed a fae over to the left, and Magic noted that she had not given her name. When it came a time, the vixen knew she would get to know her better, along with all the other members of the pack.

She lifted her amber pools forward as Kong spoke, saying if there were any other wolves willing to stand up for the role of an Alpha. She undoubtedly knew that Kal would have said his name, and thought about the choice for a moment. An alpha; it was a very respectable role, and the black vixen knew instantly what Glitch was thinking. He would have wanted the role. She knew his dream from when he was a pup was to break hold of the zoo and become an alpha of a strong, loyal pack. However, now he wouldn't get the full experience, seeing that if someone challenged someone else would have to take the role of fighting. If the two ever did asume the role of alpha, Magic would have to throw all the punches. She wanted Glitch to explore the meaning of it, but Magic found herself challenged to speak up. How would it look to see members that had only joined a few minutes ago ask for the leadership? Tacky, to say the least. This was Glitch's chance to get the role, and Magic needed to aid him in the process. She readied her vocals for her statement, but was interupted by a howl around the border Magic and Glitch had just come from. She lifted her ears, straining to hear the howl that had erupted just a few moments ago. The statement Magic was going to say was pushed into the back of her mind.

She looked upon Kong, who was howling for the fae (judging by the tone in the howl) to come closer. The black vixen asumed that it was another wolf wanting to join the ranks of the field, but then corrected herself that this scent was mingled with that of another pack, Saw Tooth. Magic had heard of these lands a while ago, and was well aware of their existence. She could have joined this pack if she wanted to, but something was missing from the way of life; there was a lack of night life. Magic loved the moonlight and the stars; the way it lapped over the terrain and smothered all the plants in a glowing pool. She loved to bathe in the starlight, soak in the magic it held. Aroura Borealis was the only pack who lived in the darkness as well as the sunlight, and was not that evil, either. She chose this in her head that one day knowing it would be perfect.

Anyway, I digress, and Magic layed her pools on a fea that was white with splashes of black here and there. Her vocals soothed the wind with their gentle calling, but Magic felt herself silent. She dipped her head to the ixen in respect, but no sound came out of the wolf's maw. She looked as Kal rose to his feet and stated his name, and that made Magic like him that much better. She waited until Kong had answered her request and got back onto the topic of leadership before Magic finally spoke up. "Perhaps, Glitch and I could volunteer for this rank, even if we have only been here a rather of minutes. Not to put competition on your claim, Kal, but we would like to see what personalities this pack has given us under a new light. As awkward as it is to say this, but we put our names up to vote as well." Magic admitted that sounded quite weird and she didn't really like how her vocals floated on the wind, but was said was said, and there was no way to suck the words right back in, and Magic and Glitch would stay true to their statement.
