The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Water dripped from the ceiling, the droplets echoing softly around the tavern. The brute began to shift, causing the ess to flinch, and then freeze as his orbs traveled over her. Her skin prickled with self-consciousness at his inspection and her ears flattened against her head; she was not beautiful anymore in her own eyes. Every scar she gained took away another shard of any beauty she had, and now she felt barren of any good appearance she once owned. She took a deep breath, expelling the feeling away. The only thing she could do now was to avoid eye contact with him to help show she was not challenging him on anything. Moments went past and every second was like time ticking away closer to her death.

Strange, tense, cold music flooded into her ear and the male begin to speak, challenging her reason for standing before him. She opened her maw with a sharp retort, then snapped it back shut, her eyes wide, quickly realizing what a huge mistake it would have been if she voiced her thoughts. Flashbacks of being attacked flooded into her mind in colors of red. I must be a masochist, she thought dryly, always getting myself into these kinds of situations. His strange music began flow again, sounding slightly less gruff than before. She hesitated, realizing how tense she was and forced herself to relax, listening carefully to what he was saying.

After his words, the brute stepped out of the shadows, and it was only then when Nocturne realized how large he really was. Even if he was a few feet away, he still seemed to tower of her, as though she was just a small pup. She took a deep breath, realizing she wasn’t afraid. Sure, the brute was a little intimidating, but the way he stood was not that of a wolf ready to attack. Her eyes drunk in his dark pelt that seemed to be old of age. An elder? She mused silently. Surely not, it had to be genes. The brute was in too good of shape to be old. She smiled softly, grateful towards him for giving her a chance to speak,

She dipped her head in submission, trying to be respectful and opened her maw, soft music emanating “My name is Nocturne, I was passing through when I caught your scent. I… I’m sorry for following you. I was curious. When I found you, I saw something was wrong. You’re all-” She nodded towards him to help emphasize, “Tense. Is something the matter?” She dipped her head lower, fearing that she may have crossed the line by getting personal, “Please, I’m not here to make you angry or anything…” Her voice trailed off, waiting for his judgment.
