During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Darkness. That is all Exodus has ever known. At one point, maybe not so much, but no, he had grown used to the darkness, welcomed it even. He lived in darkness, breathed in the shadows, and treasured the empty feeling it gave him. Sometimes, anyways. That was what brought him here, this time at this day and place. It had taken him an entire month to finally decide and there was no turning back now. He had come to far to simply walk away. His large dark paws made only slight sound as he wove his way through the thick, dark trees. That was a bonus, the darkness in this place. Strange whispers darted in and out of his audits and he narrowed his eyes. Once this soldier’s mind was set there was nothing anyone or anything could do to change it.

An aroma entered his nares and he paused in his journey. The border was drawing near. At the scent of other wolves an instinctive growl rumbled from his large chest before he silenced. He couldn’t help it. He had been alone for so long that the thought of being so close to another was simply, freaking him out. Still, he had put long thought and effort into this decision so he was going to follow through with it. Huffing in that irritating way of his, he kept going, slowing his trot to a slow, decision making walk. He would be at the border very soon now and that would mean a life changing experience. Yes, the demon had been in a pack before but he was lost there and became the rogue that he was. The only regret he had was that he would probably never see his beloved sister again. The image of his sister was the only thing that kept him from becoming completely swallowed by the black.

He could sense the line without seeing it. The male’s scent was everywhere now, mixed with others here and there. His dark orbs scanned the area, seeing no one. He couldn’t believe his eyes though. He had learned to never trust his eyesight for other’s could hide well. Still, he somehow knew that no one was there. Snorting out a small laugh, he began to pace about the border line. It didn’t matter if this was his decision or not. If someone didn’t come soon he would leave. He didn’t bother to howl or signal his presence, they should have others patrolling the border. If not, then he would find this pack ill-fitting for him and he would turn the other way. So he waited, the large black soldier pacing back and forth in impatience.
