Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Cloud was relieved to be away from that older wolfess. He had wandered further away, looking over his shoulder now and then to see if she really was gone. She was nice, a little too nice, and she talked a lot. He didn’t like that, he wasn’t social and she was just too happy and energetic. Cloud never had really been around anyone that wanted to be around him before, but Akri didn’t need to be with him or around him. He was fine on his own, he didn’t need help, he didn’t really need anyone. Though it was strange being this way, alone. He wanted to still be alone but he did sort of miss the idea of living in a community where he could choose to be alone. Here he was approached by random strangers. The blond and white marked brute blinked his stunning bright teal eyes, continuing further west into the crater. He might as well find the center, give him something to do.

That brought on something else though, what was he going to do after that? What purpose did he have? In the pack he had to hunt for them and always contribute in some way, or at least they kept him busy by picking fights with him. He fought to survive and now, he had no purpose no reason to live except to keep himself alive here, no points to prove when he didn't have to fight. He liked that there was less conflict in his life, he got to make his own choices, but something deep down in his heart wanted him to find something more. These damned conflicted feelings! The teen felt his ruff rise up and he felt angry at himself, his muscles tensing, but he collected himself shortly after, releasing a deep sigh. When he first come out here he had wanted to be alone. All for Cloud and no one else. Since meeting Akri though he couldn’t help but feel like he missed seeing others around when he needed it. This was dumb, he was dumb. Why did he want to see others, he hated other creatures, all they did was torment him. Perhaps it was just his mother's company he missed? He shook his head, she wasn't coming back, he didn't even know why he thought of her.

Something was calling him, but was what is? The brute knew he would never go back to his old home, but something like it seemed to be what deep down he needed and wanted. Still, he was solitary, he didn’t desire constant contact with others, but was that possible? Was there a best of both worlds? He didn’t know so all he could do is walk around and hope a purpose would hit him over the head. That was all the white one winged marked brute could ask for now as he meandered around the crater, no purpose and only a slight idea of a destination.
