News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
Let me guide you
IP: 24.27.96.14

Life hadn't been easy on Andromeda. The Iromar incident and the birth of her children took a beating on her body. Something has happened within her. She was completely exhausted everyday and weakened to the point that she was unable to hunt for herself. Andromeda knew that giving birth was a risky thing. There were a few females in her old pack who died giving birth. Andromeda barely remember since she was so young, but she had heard the tails of death and destruction while giving life to others. Maybe she was lucky to have survived to see her two sons. Of course she was. It was her destiny to birth the sons of the stars, and of the stars they were. Azrael may be proud that they have these...angel marks, but Andromeda was more than thrilled to see the glimmer of white speckles upon black fur. It was a sign of their divinity, a sign that they were to carry the line and knowledge. Knowledge of an ancient kind, the very origin of life, the universe, and everything. It was passed down generation to generation, and Andromeda knew she would have to have the talk with her sons soon. Guardian was so taken with his father, she feared he would hold no interest in the other side of his roots. Azrael has already gotten it in their heads they were these angel things with their red marks, but they were so much more than that. Azrael didn't know it himself, the line that Andromeda came from and their beliefs. Her homeland may be a world torn from war but their roots were always pure. She had to wait until they were old enough to understand, and it was almost time to begin teaching.

For now, Andromeda lay curled around her three pups, her large black body engulfing them with her gentle warmth. She was often overcome with the haze of sleep, in fact she almost slept as much as her young pups. She loved every one of them so much, she didn't know her heart could grow so large. Meryl was a brave young boy who was willing to learn. He had grown so much already, from the little scrap of muddy fur in the cold snow to a fine young boy...who is nice and clean now as Andromeda ensures it. Her was always willing to help, and Andromeda would melt at his beautiful little eyes. Guardian was a boy who so loved his father...Andromeda wished Azrael could stay around more and spend time with him. Azrael was always so busy hunting or out doing...whatever the hell he does. She hated hearing Guardian's little cries when his father left. He had to learn though, life was no so pleasant. Andromeda was taken to similar such meetings as the ones Azrael went to as a pup. Being the alpha's one and only child put a lot of responsibility on her shoulders as a mere pup. At least, Guardian didn't have such pressure. She would never want to push him, for it is what drove Andromeda away from her home. She didn't want the same for her little boy. And Starfall, she worried about him most. He was showing signs that he was not as many other wolves were. He talked about his dreams and refuses to acknowledge they are not real. Andromeda figures it is just a matter of time, but as of the past few days Starfall has show signs of sleep walking. It was a dangerous thing, but in the lore of her homeland, it means he was blessed. Andromeda has such conflicting feelings on the matter...but only time would tell.

Slumber began to fade as her muscles began to curl softly in her new wake. Yellow eyes slowly opened, and of course they are drawn towards that of her children. They all slept so sound beside her, they little bodies breathing in the spring air. She was comforted by the rise and fall of their little chests. They were all so beautiful, so perfect in every way. She lifted her star-crowned visage, moving in the dim light like a regal shadow, her tongue coming down to caress all of her children with licks. Something was different today...something was...off. Her yellow darted to the entrance...what was he doing here? Azrael was never here at this time of day, and she naturally wondered if everything was okay. Did he get into some sort of trouble? That wouldn't be surprising. Either way, she was...glad to see him. A small song of a whine flowed out of her muzzle, her jet black legs gently pushing her body away from the pups, her movements slow and minimal as to not disturb the pups. When they slept, it was pretty hard to wake them. Especially when they were tuckered out from play. Andromeda slid away from the pups left warm among the feathers that their father so graciously laid out of them. The raven hued lady took one last look at her pups, who probably would wake soon, giving her only a few moments alone to spend with their father. She feels the weight of her body and how it resents the fact that she decided to move. Recovery had been slow and she was glad he wasn't far off. Her inky black muzzle lowers to his, touching him softly, kissing his cheek sweetly before pulling back to look at him. She couldn't help but notice the pile of dead outside the den...he had gone a bit kill crazy ever since Iromar. It was sweet really, seeing as her body was basically chained to the den with heavy metal shackles from birth.

"I am surprised to see you here at this time of day. What is the occasion?" she says in a whisper, her body lowering to the ground, feeling better to take the weight off of her crouched legs. Andromeda scooted up close to him, her black paws seeking to mix in with his. Her black nose leaned in to nudge him again, her tail tapping gently on the ground behind her. In this moment, she so wished to cuddle right into him, to bury her face in his fur. Ever since her separation, she knew she didn't want to be separated from him like that again. It was like her heart and soul was torn right from her insides, leaving nothing but a bloody train that led back to him. She never wanted that vile feeling to overtake her again. This was perfection and she knew it now. She rested her muzzle next to his, her yellow eye waiting to come in contact with his, to connect pupil to pupil in this rare moment of alone time before pups were sure to begin pouncing and playing.

"I can see that you brought me quite a feast, my darling," she cooed with a grin that seemed to sparkle. Yes, it was a lot of food, and Andromeda was already feeling quite a bit...fat. She had gained some weight during the pregnancy and was unable to leave far from the den due to the birth. She had probably gained some weight since the birth, being a bit more pudgy than normal. She wore the weight well though, her build, though feminine, was thick and filled with muscles. She was no lean running machine, but a warrior, one of strength and power. Yes, she wore the weight well, but that doesn't mean she wasn't aware of it. Andromeda itched for the day when she is recovered and she could romp in the grass with her sons. It was to be soon, and yet, Andromeda still felt the grumble and growls of her stomach. Hey, a girls gotta eat to recover.
