Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

There was too much to think about and, well, it was worst to think about it all surrounded by the landscape and wolves of Diveen. So much had changed with the introduction of Iromar's new rule and surely others had noticed, no? Something had been different even with Ava, with Heyel and Devil May Cry too and if she were to tell the truth - she did't like it. Even Azrael had seemingly become a trainwreck, crashing and throwing himself about for his baby mama and that brat, Micteca. Okay, so maybe he had a legitimate excuse but the others? It was just... different, and that very much included Malina herself. With Rogue having quickly wormed her way into being a companion of sorts, Malina was beginning to find herself at odds with herself and the life she had lived up until that point; it was difficult to accept that Rogue, according to the traditions of Angels, was innately evil and to be executed without question. Why had they given Cayen a fair trial? Were they not all... redeemable as he was?

She'd crept out of Diveen the moment the first beam of light had hit the ground, finding her way through the scarce border patrol with little issue. It's not that she was up to anything disreputable or wrong, just that... she didn't want to be followed or pestered by another. Honestly, did she need another agitating though? Oh well, that part of her day was over and done with and she'd had half the mind to swing by Iromar on her way to wherever - Micteca was still there, no? Little dweeb hadn't been able to either escape or get herself released (or even saved for that matter.) Eh, it wasn't worth getting her paws dirty for and without a moment's hesitation, she had changed her trajectory to one of the more enjoyable parts of Moladion - the Mid Eastern Crater. There was something about its emptiness that made her more... calm, or something like that at least.

She had moved through dawn and into the mid morning sun, her long limbs quickly eating up the ground as she moved through the fields of tall grass; it brushed at her stomach, her tail waving boredly behind her. There wasn't many there, not that she could sense at least, and for that she was thankful. There was business to attend to within her own head and it was time to get started - with a burst of speed, she weaved through the grass until she found what she had been looking for. A flat rock that cut out from the ground in jagged succession, its summit barely skirting the grass but offering access to the pleasant morning breeze; with a single bound, she steadied herself atop it before falling to her belly and rolling onto her side. There was nothing for her to fear out in the free lands or, well, anywhere really so all the better to relax.

And with that, it was time to start deciding not only her future but the future of others.
