Stimulation? The femme bit down another laugh. Yes, she had to admit, word games were pretty fun against this varg. It was nice to actually encounter a challenge for once, and boy was he one. He was nearly as sarcastic as herself. Nearly. See? He was good for something, apart from a lawn decoration to scare the crows away. Lolita could've sworn she saw him tense as she moved closer. So, this one had personal space issues then? She couldn't really blame him, though she did store the information away for later use. Having strange wolves up close was not exactly high on her list of great experiences either. Still, her fear had evaporated long ago, what had existed of it anyway. He seemed to have calmed considerably, and now she found her curiosity growing once more. His words stopped her short, as her mind began racing. That was interesting. One minute he was also taking cheap shots at her, the next with an actual question? The dappled she hesitated, gathering her thoughts, before replying, "I like Cold Summers. Axel seems to be handling the duties of Alpha well, and from what I've seen, our pack mates are stand-able. Though I could be wrong on that one, as I'm not closely acquainted with anyone yet." She gauged his reaction on this one, looking for any sign that somebody was particularly annoying. If so she'd appreciate some forewarning; future avoidance was important if possible. "What possessed me to join? Well, you may have noticed I can't exactly shut up...Pack life was inevitable. Still, Cold Summers has a good reputation around here. It's a smaller pack, which I can't help but appreciate, the Alpha is fair, and so far I haven't seen any warmongering.You think my smart ass would've survived somewhere like Abentrot or Malignant? Not at all. Maybe I was just looking for a challenge that wouldn't involved my head separated from my body." She ended her speech quite awkwardly, unsure of what she had just come up with. It had been quite long-winded, and she felt bad for his ears being subjected to that. Oh well, he'd survive. However, she shuffled, slightly uncomfortable. Lolita was feeling slightly embarrassed now. "So, what about you? How did someone with your obvious experience end up in Cold Summers?" She was hoping to turn the conversation away from her more embarrassing tirades, plus she was generally inquisitive now. He was far more interesting than originally thought. |
