Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The russet teen watched as anger and annoyance built up in the other’s bodice. Her eyes showed perfectly just how much rage had built up inside her. So maybe Dib had over stepped the mark but surely she was used to people asking questions, wasn’t she? Her whole bodice showed her anger, tail beating against the floor as it engulfed her. However she didn’t react the way Dib had expected her too. Instead it appeared she was trying her best to stay calm and for that the teen was grateful. How would she explain to her mother that she got into a fight with an Abendrot soldier... that was if she managed to actually walk away. Twin towers flicked as Aerten’s deep breaths entered the atmosphere. Was she really trying to stay calm and beat her temper? Whatever she was doing it for, Dib would always remember it.

’Well, congratulations on being unique. You'd be one of the first wolves I've met who is so.’ The words seemed sincere enough, but there was no telling with Aerten. At least for now the sarcasm had died down. With all the nasty and somewhat rude words that came with the older ess and the fact that she could have killed Dib at any point during the time they had been together, she was actually beginning to like Aerten even more than she had previously. There was something about her that, well, made her easy to talk to. Now that sounds strange however the girl knew what she meant. This was the first time in a while that anyone- except Markus- had actually treated her like a wolf. They hadn’t paid a large amount of attention to her leg and the russet ess appreciated more than Aerten would ever know.

And then with one last breath, the girl raised her eyes of the ground, her rage calming dramatically. In usual conversations the teen would have smiled at this point, however she had only just got Aerten back on her side and she really didn’t want to push it again. ’I apologize for my behaviour before Dib. It was uncalled for.’ The girl did nothing. The words slightly shocking her. Of all things for Aerten to come out with, an apology was the last thing on the teen’s mind. Though she appreciated the words. The older ess had been a bit of a grump. Dib nodded her head slightly at the words, a small smile appearing on her maw now. Even if the words were slightly aloof but they meant the same thing didn’t they? ’Family is a...touchy topic for me. However it's good that you have such roots in your own pack.’ The knowledge that family shouldn’t be brought up again, if the pair were ever to meet again, was logged away with the name and face. She would make a point of avoiding the subject at all costs in the future. ”There is no need for an apology. I shouldn’t have asked such a personal question, so I am sorry.” She paused briefly realising that Aerten’s words had grown softer. ”Be assured the topic will not be brought up again.” She didn’t see anything else that needed to be added and it was probably a good idea to cut it short anyway.

Sighing herself, Dib gazed down at the useless limb that had started to cause a slight pain to shoot through her bodice. She just couldn’t win. If she sat still for too long, it would ache. If she moved about for too long, it would ache. Bending down slightly and licking at the paw the ess tried to lessen the pain. ”Sorry Aerten but I must stand for just a moment.” Hopefully this would help slightly. Slowly the ess lifted herself off the floor, taking the time and effort to steady herself.
