I don't know yet how the change of things will affect this pack war that's been brewing ever since Ruvindra first had rule over Iromar. Is this war all about markings and whose who in bloodlines? No, I don't think so. Heyel makes it seem that way on the surface but it didn't start until Diveen wolves started getting attacked. Wolves like Amir and Malina, wolves who meant no harm, well, mostly. Amir, I know has changed and he would never go out and try to hurt someone. Malina on the other paw, is trained to hurt things but I don't think she was sent out on a mission anything like that. And then the kidnappings started after Baphomet took over. Diveen wolves like Micteca and Sinopa and other wolves were kidnapped, innocent young wolves with no ill intentions in mind. Heyel got fired up over his blood being targetted, wolves close to him. They tried to kidnap other wolves, wolves like Isola and Azrael, sons and daughters of Heyel. It's like they were trying to piss the white assassin off. I look over his scars but he seems just as proud of them as I am of my own. I'm sure he has lots of stories to cover those scars just like I do. Maybe if this goes well, he'll let me hear some sometime. He seem thoughtful at my questions, not entirely dismissing them. I nod, though my brow furrows. "Of course, that's only half true. He knew the company she was keeping with her new pack, the cannibals, the killers. She used to be friends with him and he didn't want to see her go down that dark road. Instead her mate vague stepped in and went for a more physical approach. He attacked two of our wolves though they did nothing to motivate this. When Baphomet stepped in, this whole Demons vs. Angels mess started. Before I knew it, wolves were getting stolen, wolves related to Heyel. They even stole a wolf from another pack, Sinopa, a daughter of Heyel's. Heyel went there to retaliate, to get a wolf back that they'd stolen, Micteca. They were threatening to torture her, to punish her. She's not related to him by blood but he is attached to her, like an adopted daughter. Baphomet tried to step in but it didn't go so well. I'm not quite sure what motived Baphomet to start stealing these wolves but he's made a lot of enemies. I do know that." My words end gruffly, eyes narrowed, a way to let Amissus know that I am one of those enemies. Baphomet has threatened my pack and therefore threatened me. If Amissus believes as he says he does, this whole taking care of pack theory, then he'll understand where I'm coming from. |
