Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

So that had been Leviathan's imprint, then. That explained the way he had acted around her. Good for her, finding someone like that. She hadn't known the other wolf long, but she certainly didn't wish ill on her. Imagine that, finding someone who would do their best to never do wrong by you. You wouldn’t have to be alone unless it was by choice. Well, Alana doubted she would ever find anything like that, but perhaps living in Glorall would at least provide her with company.

Something of d’Mani’s words stuck out in Alana’s mind. The mention that Leviathan’s imprint had gone missing too. Was it just them or was disappearing a common thing around here?

They’ve both ‘gone missing?’” Alana asked, somewhat skeptically. “Is that usual?

d’Mani had seemed so casual about their disappearances. Maybe it really was common. Wolves could just decide to leave, there was nothing wrong with that. Still, if people were leaving for a reason… Well, even if other people were leaving, she would stay, at least for a while. There seemed to be no harm in it so far.

Alana, having glanced away from the other wolf as she mentioned looking around, brought her eyes back to the d’Mani as she mentioned the previous King’s death.

Well, I would like to see what it’s like here since I guess it’s where I’ll be living for a while,” she smiled slightly at that, though the smile faded fairly quickly, honest sympathy crossing her face and voice. “Your king died though. I’m sorry.

Waiting for response, Alana took a few steps toward what she believed to be deeper into the pack lands, hoping that d’Mani would step in beside her and take the lead. She had no idea where she was going, after all.
