Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

When she whispered his name, he felt a subtle shiver run the course of his body. She had a lovely voice indeed, and he wouldn't mind it speaking his name often. Violet irises were more than little intrigued to watch the still nameless lady devour her portion of the sow. She seemed to enjoy it, and this made Sen more than happy he had offered her some. And then, just after her last bite, and after his foolish honesty- the most wondrous sound was graced upon him. The red-head was laughing, a tinkling, bell like sound that could only be described as fairy like, if one knew what a fairy was. Any other wolf would have been offended by such a thing, but Sen could not help himself. His voice sipped out as a slight chuckle to join with hers, and when she composed herself and apologized, he simply shook his head. "There is nothing to apologize for, dear. You are more than correct, and there is nothing wrong with that."

He gave her a slight smile, before he was once again distracted by her murmuring his name. Only, it wasn't to adress him this time, but more so a spoken consideration. She seemed thoughtful, and once again- the pale boy felt a small shiver lick along his frame. Just what sort of effect would this enchantress have on him to come? He did not know, but he figured he would find out. After she was done repositioning herself, seemingly to make herself more comfortable- the odd moment was obliterated as she turned her radiant smile back on him. If Sen could have fainted from swooning- he would have. But instead, his return smile was one that could rival her own. Hush. A name he had never heard before, but on that suited the lady before him perfectly. One that suited Hush perfectly.

And then it was her time to pause, as he had asked her of her own history. It seemed she considered this rather personal, since she took her time- or perhaps she simply didn't know what to say or where to start, as Sen had not known. Regardless, the pale marked boy was content to wait, but of course keeping bright violet irises honed in on her. Ever so occasionally, said gaze would travel down Hush's fourm, taking in all that he could, and etching it forever within his memory. He wanted to be able to find her again. He wanted to remember her and seek her out at another point in time, after this first encounter was all said and done. When she spoke of this place, what it was called- he was surprised to learn that this was infact where she had been born. Not in a pack, but in no-mans land. Unlike Sen, who had been born into a well off and prosperious pack. But it was not the time to think of that, no. Now was the time to think of the lady before him- Hush.

His mind was musing at the tone to her voice, the echo that seemed to be there, and yet not there. Could it be a loneliness? A bitterness? Or did she simply not wish to talk about herself? Sen did not know, but he hoped one day he might find out. He almost missed her questions, but they registered with his mind in the last moment. "I was not born to these lands, no. As for a traveler.. I do not know. And as for passing through.. I do not know that, either. I've yet to meet anyone or anything of significance.." While speaking, his violet gaze had wandered to where her own lavender had gestured- all around them. The trees, the soil, the thicket, the swamp they sat on the border of. It was all more than new for him, and thus far he found it pleasant. But was he to remain here, or perhaps search for any survivors of his home? This, Sen did not know.

"..until now, that is." And with that, his bright, intense gaze was returned to her own, impassive for the first moment, before softening, melting to reveal the enjoyment and relaxation he felt within. There was something about Hush that made him feel.. warm, happy, content. He enjoyed being around her, and wished to let her know that- but how and with what words, exactly? Actions did speak louder than words, after all. And so with that resolve in his mind, and though there was still some distance between them- Sen steeled himself as he reached out ever so subtly, his pale muzzle barely coming into contact with her own russet one, but there was contact there nonetheless. It was a simple, gentle nudge, nothing close to a full blown muzzle or caress, but to Sen it simply meant thank you. And he would let her know that. "Thank you, Hush."
