At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

As she neared the adult brute, his head swivelled in response, she supposed, to hearing her paws padding gently across the soft grass. Spring was gentle around them, the flowers now all in or near bloom as the land began to shake off the icy grip winter had held. Finally in the company of others, it had been strange hearing words of praise toward to cold days she’d been dreading as she travelled further north, yet she had been beginning to see the season in a new light. Perhaps next time the cold came, she’d be able to enjoy some time playing in the snow and truly appreciate it for once. For now, she was glad that the soothing breezes dancing around her body sent caressing whispers of a promised summer of lazy days basking in hot rays of warmth.

Terrel’s grin as Mae approached was enough to set off the tamer smile on her own face, and her tail in a gentle wagging motion. Another thing she was glad of the winter for, as it had been when she’d joined Saw Tooth’s members and met the wolf she was now approaching. She’d found a home to call her own, with friends that were slowly bringing her out of the shy shell she’d tucked herself away in. Mae settled beside the male, glad as he smiled again when she leant herself reassuringly against him. Her ears flickered, picking up his calm tones as he responded to her greeting. She was glad to see he’d calmed down a little. The last time they’d seen on another he’d seemed on the verge of a major panic and had been ranting loudly to himself. She hoped the talk with Channing had helped him sort things out.

“I’m glad,” she informed him as he told her he was feeling better having talked the situation out. He then proceeded to mention losing himself a little, which worried the femme. A puzzled looked crossed her face for a moment before she toned it down and tilted her head ever so slightly. “Do you know what brought that feeling on…why it happened? Forgive me if I’m prying too much. Let me know if I’ve asked to much,” she wanted to help him, thinking that talking it out was a much better way to sort things than alone in your head. However, she knew anything to do with Channing or his past right now was a sensitive topic and didn’t want to overstep the boundary of what she could ask him about.

As Terrel commented on her scent being pleasant, she ducked her head a little in embarrassment, uncertain why he’d said it. Nonetheless she answered his question, “I went to the meadow covered in herbs in the territory. I didn’t stay for long, but I listened for a while to Moth’s information on the properties of various plants.” She paused and laughed lightly to herself, “It seems I’ll be in need of another lesson though, as I can barely remember any of what she said.” When Terrel placed his nose to the side of her muzzle as he spoke next, she nudged him back before replying as he dipped his head to take a drink. “Good,” she smiled gently, “I’m glad you seem to be on the way to sorting things out with her mother.”

OOC: In answer to your question, I’m happy for that to happen :3 and good on the slow progression thing, it’s more fun to develop characters slowly XD plus I have seen some of the plans in relation to Channing/Henadin and look forward to reading those threads
