News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
I fell in love with a shooting star
IP: 24.27.96.14

The young boy of coated in black stood among the softness of the white world, eyes pressed closed firmly in his irritation with everything around him. The world was such a confusing place, and he had apparently inherited his father's ability to get easily frustrated. Starfall was not exactly mad at the world, but the spirit caught between reality and dreams had a mind desperately trying to understand what all is happening to him. There was no one who really understood, or at least shared, his experiences. Reality and dreams could be equally harsh. The young male stood tall upon his ravened hued stilts, the moon calmly washing over him. He was at the point of darkness, with his eyes closed. A portal between worlds. Starfall can find some sort of solace in the darkness that cut off both worlds to him, and he was about to feel a bit calmer about it all. Yes, he could feel the tinges of anger falling off of his fur, that is until the dead silence of winter rung with the voice of...his father.

The young boy, shackled and chained to the plain of dreams, let his star-tipped ears slip back onto his skull after hearing his name yelled out within the darkness. His father was a male touched in blood and snow, a drapery that they hardly shared. Starfall's features sharped on his face, opal touched eyes opening from their closed state, allowing in light once more. Irritating. He felt his heckles rise once more, allowing the blood mark on his spine to be seen. His peace was disrupted by the storming voice of his father, like a blizzard attacking his world of darkness that Starfall could find sanity within. Spitefully, Starfall jerked his majestic, yet, completely unkempt head, his hazed over eyes narrowing slightly as he father spoke to him. Azrael was a wolf that had many faces in the mind of Starfall, and in his mind, Azrael was often critical of him, not accepting of him, no, not as he accepts Guardian. The dark face of the boy was vexed at Azrael telling him how he should be, what he should be doing. Starfall could do what he very damn well pleased, and that was to teach that tree a lesson for talking to him like that.

Starfall huffed, his fur ruffling and puffing slightly as the white wolf inched closer. Starfall initially leaned his smaller body away, even taking one step away as he looked back at his father with fierce eyes. What was Azrael going to be like today? He was already yelling, was he going to go off how about how Starfall isn't good enough, like he sometimes does? Of course, Starfall only really heard that in his dreams, but to him, it was all the same. What Azrael said in dreams, was just as well said in reality, and there was nothing to convince the young pup otherwise.

Eventually Azrael reached him, his muzzle nuzzling the boy and causing Starfall to snort in protest. He may have even growled a bit as Azrael licked his ear. This was not the time for affection, there were lessons to be had and Starfall wasn't in the mood to be yelled at. His face was twisted as he look away from his father, his lips shaking to hold back exposing his fangs. What the hell did he want with him? Couldn't he just...leave him alone? His star-tipped ear twitched as his father spoke once more, eyes of gleaming opal looking away at the dark and gloomy, dead trees, that still held the laughter of birds. Starfall lashed his tail as his lips curled back, his attention going back to the tree tops as Azrael mentions fixing his hair. His frame is stiff as Azrael reaches for him, pushing him towards him and aiming to hold him down in place. Starfall growled in protest, though nothing savage or severe. His dark body crunched the soft white snow and he kept his eyes on the tree tops, not looking at Azrael as he force groomed his hair down, a rather futile thing to do, seeing as Starfall will mess it up in mere moments. His father's licks could not tame the prickling of his hairs on his neck and back, the puffing from irritation and anger. Starfall only growled quietly as Azrael first groomed him, wiggling his body at time in protest. After a few moments of struggle and growls, Starfall finally felt the need to speak.

"That tree was telling me I wasn't good enough, that I am a freak. I am not, that tree is wrong. I had to teach it a lesson. Then those ugly stupid BIRDS decided to LAUGH at me, and I need to show them who is really boss. I don't have TIME to be concerned with hair." he said, he voice rough as he spoke through his teeth. Starfall then persisted with his wiggling, his small black body breaking free of Azrael's hold and jumping into the snow of winter. He shakes out his fur, stepping a few steps away with before sitting, facing away from his father with his tail wrapped around his paws. His skull was slightly lowered in a brooding stance, his ears halfway back as his stared into the nothingness ahead with venom in his gaze. He clenched his jaws with thunderous rage, his nose twitching in the cold wind, before he yells out in the silent night.

"Etiam pu monstrum" (You think I am a freak too)

His words are forward, loud and strong, and hinted with a bit of anger and hurt. His voice is one that angels would come to listen to, when he spoke the ancient tongue, he did so with such perfection, such grace. He spoke both English and Latin with great expertise, especially for his age. He picked up on every last word and accent with ease, and the beauty of his voice only made his message towards his father even more haunting.
