Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her brother wasn't the most sneaky of things. Sure, he went quite a ways without her noticing, but in the end it was the wind that gave him away. Of course, Viora wasn't one to care that she was possibly being followed by her dear brother. She didn't actually see him, not yet anyway. She just sorta smelled him and figured. Why wouldn't he follow her? She was the fun one. She wanted to go out and explore, to wrestle and play. She wasn't afraid to get her paws dirty. in fact, she almost completely forgot that her brother may be following her once she was distracted by the bug. The mind of a puppy is a constantly changing thing, of course her attention could not stay on one place.

She had failed at catching the bug, a frustrating thing to begin with, but her grey ears perked at the sound of another coming fast. Ha! She knew her brother was following her. With a smug look tugging onto her white muzzle, her blue eyes turned to see...a weird looking black thing. She tightened her puppy muscles, pushing back a little as her belly remained on the ground. She watched as the other puppy flew into the air, jaws wide to catch what she attempted to catch. Her nose wrinkled as she lifted a brindled brow at him, relaxing her body a bit as he failed. Psh, was he trying to prove that he was better than her by trying to catch the same bug? What was this buy up to? And...why was he not Tristan? Viora was a little confused by what just happened, as she watched the boy roll over onto his belly.

With her smug look still intact on her face, the pretty little girl hopped up onto her grey feet. He says something completely ridiculous, this new boy. She is pretty sure he has some sort of problem, because those words meant nothing. At least, mother never said those words. He was staring at her too, and honestly, Viora took that completely as a challenge. He had already challenged her simply by trying to catch the same bug. Hmph. She will show him who is boss! But things were not to go exactly how Viora thought, at least not initially.

Out from his cover comes her brother. Of course he was following her. How could he not? Viora was not only a beautiful thing to look at, but she was all for adventure and fights. She stopped in her tracks as her stunning blue eyes dashed towards him, her tail wagging slightly as he approaches. This will be more fun with Tristan here. Well, maybe. Viora had plans of simply pouncing upon the stranger. One can learn a lot about another simply by play fighting, but brother, he prefers...the vocal route. Viora tilts her head slightly, frowning as her brother speaks to the stranger. Well, he is no fun. He isn't going to stop her though. A devilish look crossed her visage, a look so dangerous yet pretty coming from her puppy face. Slowly, she turned to look back at the stranger. Viora will find out his true intentions, right about now.

Viora lowered herself slightly, butt wiggling in the air. She winds herself up, and launches her puppy frame full force at the red and black boy. Her dark tail wags wildly behind her, for she intends completely to play and have fun with him. Viora aims to land her front side on her shoulder, and her maw would aim to get a puppy hold on his ear. If she succeeds, she would proceed to chew on his ear until stopped. He did indeed challenge her, with his bug chasing and weird words. He asked for it, and he was going to get it. Viora did not use words, she had Tristan for that. She wanted to learn this boy's name through action, for she would give him the name he would deserve from her. Let the games begin!
