The delusion in his glacial blue eyes was indisputable as he looked to her. There were flashes of disbelief and something unseen before to her - perhaps hurt? She had never seen such a look in his gaze before and did not wish to see it ever again after the fact. Her eyes softened as she watched the emotion play in sequence through his eyes and her ears perked forward eagerly as he finally spoke, his voice calling like a savior for her lost soul. Which was a truth, if it had not been for the play of fate in their lives with things such as imprinting, Rose would believe them to be of the same soul. No matter where one of them ended up, the other was sure to appear. It was inevitable.

"Yes.. I am here." Her voice is gentle as kindness found its way into her tone. It was impossible for her to truly remain angry with him - no matter what he did or where he went, she could never do without him. In her mind and in her heart, she knew that they were designed for each other since the beginning of time. Perhaps another will make a claim on each of them, but they cannot part, it is simply unthinkable.

He rises then, his towering figure minimizing her petite appearance even further in comparison. She does not tense as he moves toward her, no, her body remains at ease and her tail even began to sway slightly at his approach. Her caribbean blue eyes lingered on his until his muzzle passed her view and touched tenderly to her shoulder. She could hear as his lungs take a deep inhale and she finds some sort of solace in this moment as her fears and twisted emotions settle. She moves her head to press firmly against his neck as he stays by her side, her muzzle finding its way through his thick fur to kiss his skin.

She inhales just as he had, but it is not solely for the purpose of preserving the scent of his delightful aroma, his words had brought back the reason why she was here at his side now. "You.." She regained composure as she closed her eyes, holding herself together as best as she was capable of without her voice cracking. "You just.. left." The memory of how torn she had been to discover him gone without a single trace, how broken she had been in the time after, it nearly sent her to tears. "You cannot do that to me. Not again. Ever again.." Her voice trailed off as she opened her eyes again and stepped back to view him, yet kept close so that she may reach out and touch him if she so desired.
