He turned quickly at the sound of his name, and looked into her eyes. They were watery from sadness and full of an unsettling amount of disappointment, which struck him deep. What had she done to deserve this? He'd left before she had awoken, and she was gone when he came back. For all he knew, she probably went looking for him when he'd always blamed it on her leaving...

But she could have come back.

'The Queen' had left him in a delicate state, one where being left alone for a long while had left him feeling betrayed. A state where his first option had to be drugging himself

"Yeah?" he asked, turning his entire body to face her and taking a few steps froward. Their eyes met again, bringing him close to tears. So he gentle rubbed his nose against the side of her neck reassuringly.

"Don't miss me so much. I'm just different now..."
