♫ It’s a beautiful day in the paaAck, it’s a beautiful day in the paaAck! ♫ Sinclair pranced happily, bopping his head side to side lightly to the tune in his head. The late morning had been warmed by the bright, spring sun. It gleamed off of Sinclair’s white, white coat and glinted on the light silver hair of topline. It seemed to set on fire the cinnamon patch of fur between her shoulder blades, set alive by the glinting silver hairs that tipped it.
One would have thought him a wolf of pure Angel line, if not for the black tip on his tail or on his rear paws. But having not grown up in Diveen with the rest of his family, Sin hadn’t developed the “pride” of his line. He was a Glorall pup, and this was his pack and family. All he had to do was enjoy it and take care of them. But to do that, Sinclair needed to start his training! And he was getting skittish to start too. But Tesseract was on a mission to Spirane, so he had been left here to his own devices.
He had completed his mission out the boarder and back and was pleased that the trip had seemed easier today that it had a week ago. Sinclair’s stamina was improving, and he felt as if his pads had hardened more to better handle the diverse terrain and travel. He was really starting to feel like he could do things for his pack! But what could he do if Tesseract wasn’t around to train him? He didn’t want to go begging his brother for a mission, cause that seemed… pathetic. And he didn’t want to ask his mom for help, cause he had done that his whole life! He wanted to be more independent. But how to be? Well… he supposed he could try hunting. He hadn’t ever done it before, but it couldn’t be that hard, right?
Sinclair bounded off into the forest and stopped near a fallen tree. What was the first thing adults did? Oh, track! Sin put his nose to work and picked out a scent that seemed familiar, though he didn’t really put a species to the trail, and he started trotting after it. Where or where would the trail end?! He was sure to find out soon. |
