Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

She knows something is not right, the way Rhoe had taken her leave left nothing to chance, but her heart was for Vidar and so she had waited until he was ready to leave before the pair had started their way back. She had let Mortz know what they where up to but had not seen the boy since the meeting, perhaps he would show up in Glorall when they got there. She kept as close to Vidar as possible as they moved from Diveen towards Glorall, it took longer than before as they kept to the shadows, darting from place to place as they kept the pace even incase Mortz saw them leave and figured he too should follow them.

But when they made it to the border Everchime halts her movements and stands on the edge, her nose sniffing the area around her for a moment before she starts to move along the edge, keeping her distance while still keeping eyes and ears open for potential threats. Her heart pounds and confusion clouds her eyes as she knows something is not right. Had Rhoe gone off to fight for their home? who would strike at such an inopportune time as this? the death of Rhoe's mate had taken it's tole on the hole pack. But for someone to take advantage of the situation, that was unmistakably cruel. "Something is not right" she whispers to Vidar breifly before raising her face to the sky and calling for Pan. He would know what had happened. He would know what had gone on.

She doesn't know who this new man is, his strong pungent smell seeping into her nose and making her want to sneeze, "Pan will know," she hopes. Little does she realise but her call will also draw the attention of others. Tess will come when she calls so too might the sister of her beloved Shadow whome she now has a name for. Vidar. She will cherish his name and do whatever it is she can to secure his good health in the future. "We will wait for him, he knows pretty much everything there is to know about Glorall" she said and she hopes that perhaps he too would know about this strange scent.
