Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Dark, livid, liquid amber follow every movement the dark limbs make. Every breath the wolf takes is watched- every step, every moment, every second. Artimus remains downwind from him, sure of himself to go undetected. Afterall- who knew his brother, Luminous, better than himself? They had been born together, raised together- they were two parts of the same whole. Or, at least, that was how the golden boy saw it. The dark one would perhaps not agree so much- perhaps. With a silent snarl tugging at his upperlip to reveal ivory daggers within, he continues to watch his brother. He would not let him get away. No. Who was he to even think that he could get away to begin with? To simply leave his brother behind in the dust was not an option. It simply wasn't, and Artimus was going to make sure of that. After all, he had followed the darker wolf when he had taken his leave- followed and never once lost the trail. And he knew, simply because he knew his brother, that Luminous hadn't the slightest clue to what lay in his wake. The thought brings not a snarl to the male's face, but, this time, a cruel smirk that twists his naturally handsome features into something grotesque. His sweet, caring brother would never think that his own kin had spilt so much blood, had taken such pleasure in the pain and demise of others. But then again, Lum had always been the naive one- or at least that's how Art had always seen it.

Such as now, how his brother is shamelessly approaching those so obviously beneath him. How could he not see it- how he towered above them, how his size could so easily overpower each and every one of them, to have them begging at his paws for their pathetic lives? Oh yes. The thought is exciting enough to the point that drool is so obviously pooling at the corners of Artimus' mouth, his pale pink tongue coming out to lick along his bottom jaw at the thought- ever so slowly. And oh yes, that's just how he would handle them. Each and every one of them. Ever so slowly and sweetly, neatly carving flesh as he so pleased; this way, that way, everywhich way just to hear them whimper and beg. It is so enticing that it has a shudder rippling throughout the frame of the pale golden and creme boy, his liquid amber gaze closing momentarily to savour such pleasure. And, of course, when his eyes open once again, they are all still there- his brother speaking away out of sheer ignorance and making Art chuckle. Perhaps one day Lum would see the light and he would be there to guide him- show him what real fun and pleasure was about. But, for now, he was content to remain in the shadows. Which is exactly what he did- kept out of sight, out of scent, and most importantly, out of mind. For what fun would it be if he spoiled the surprise now? He knew Lum would be oh so happy to see him, and just needed the right moment to present itself..

'Talks like this.'
