Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The scent that reaches me in my den is not one I recall, but the scent of Ambrosia tinged with it makes my head snap up. She had gone to see a challenger and I haven't heard anything since. Did something happen? Did she lose? Is this the challenger come to claim the pack?

I get to my paws and shake the dust from my ivory coat, golden eyes staring off into the pack lands, waiting for a call that I'm sure will come now. And come, it does. My skin shudders at the authority in the voice. Another stranger come to take the lands Tamlin was so proud of. It's still hard to believe that he's gone. After Satowra, he was the one who took over and never let go, he was the one who took me in. I never knew Satowra but I can piece together the stories about her well enough. She was one to be admired but she abandoned the pack. Tamlin was the one who had to put it back together again.

When he died, Ambrosia stepped up but the pack was in ruin. It started dying off and all I could do was hide in my den and wait for it to stop. I still hunted for myself and kept myself fit and ready but there was never anyone out there to talk to. This has been my home and I don't intend to leave it but I miss the friends I have made. I still ache for Raylen but he's not around, not anymore. I have accepted the fact that I'll probably never see him again.

I head toward the call, ears pricked forward, head and tail neutral, my steps slow and measured since I'm not sure what I'm about to walk into. I know nothing about this male, what he's like, what he sees for Bright Moon's future. There's only one way to find out. My golden gaze washes over the powerful male who sits before me now as I step into the area, my head dipping down in respect and greeting to him before I take a silent seat. I watch him for a moment, searching his eyes mostly, wondering what secrets lie there.
